NHA TRANG CITY — Doi Van Hoa, literally meaning the Hill of Thousands of Flowers, within Vinpearl Nha Trang, has been transformed to be a mini ‘Keukenhof’ with hundreds of varieties of tulips.
The 1,000-square-metre indoor venue at Viet Nam’s biggest botanical park has turned into a colourful flower carpet created by thousands of tulips from the Netherlands.
To keep the flowers fresh during the month-long festival, the festival’s organiser has invited experts from the France’s Marchegay Technologies – a company specialising in greenhouses and garden centres, to provide a perfect environment for the flowers.
Aiming to bring a special Tet (Lunar New Year) for all visitors, the Tulip Festival, the biggest ever of its kind in Viet Nam will run until March 2.
The festival is also a debut event of a series of flower events. In the most beautiful seasons of the year, the Hill of Thousands of Flowers will host festivals showcasing beautiful and exotic flowers. — VNS
