Viet Nam will take part in the 2012 Thailand Open
Track and Field Championships to be held from November 2-5 at the
Thammasat University Sport Complex, Bangkok.
Nearly 400 athletes in 42 teams will take
part in the National Track and Field Championships at Ha Noi-based My
Dinh National Stadium from October 4-9.
Nguyen Thanh Ngung set a new national record in the
men''s 10,000m walk at the 19th HCM City International Track and Field
Championships – Viet Nam Open 2012 yesterday.
Vietnamese athletes will face tough competition at
the 19th HCM City International Track and Field Championships which
starts tomorrow, as countries in the region are sending their best
athletes.
