Hà Nội art shows explore perception

’Intransmission Hanoi’ explores individual perception and collective experience.
Viet Nam News

HA NOI — Heritage Space will host a series of experimental multidisciplinary live art shows entitled ‘Intransmission Hanoi’ from tomorrow until Sunday.

The shows explore the concept of perception and collective experience, and what the organisers call ‘derivative experience’ (i.e. indirect experience through an external narrative).

Aiming to provide an immersive experience for audiences across two separate rooms, the organisers want to keep as many details secret as possible to maximise the surprise effect for attendees.

While each room will contain its own site-specific art installation and distinct music act, they will both be connected: audio and visuals from room one will be live-streamed to room two, undergoing distortions in the process.

Participating artists and collaborators include Think Playgrounds (installation, Space 1), Daniel Day Long & Julien Noyer (visuals), Rec Room (sound design), Hai Duy (percussion), Linh Ha (vocals), Nguyen Thu Thuy (ty ba string instrument), Vu Nhat Tan (music), Alistair Hobson (music), Numbfoot (music) and Quan (music).

Tickets cost VND150,000 for single admission, VND250,000 for double admission (for two separate performances and valid for one person only), and are available on ticketbox.vn.

Heritage Space is on the first floor of Dolphn Plaza, 28 Tran Binh Street, My Dinh 2, Hotline: 0902826769. — VNS
