HCM CITY — On March 5, Salon Saigon will host an interactive experimental concert featuring American multi-genre musician and sound installation artist Alec Schachner and Vietnamese composer Vu Nhat Tan.
Two artists will present music pieces of two styles of music – techno and acoustic.
Schachner has engaged in interactive sound installation works for years now. He has transformed daily objects and materials into sound-reactive instruments.
Tan studied piano, composition and musicology at the Viet Nam National Academy of Music in Ha Noi, computer music and new music in Germany, and composition in the US.
The event will take place from 5 to 7 pm at 6D Ngo Thoi Nhiem Street in District 3. Tickets priced at VND200,000 are available at www.ticketbox.vn. — VNS
