Artists pay tribute to ‘unending' inspiration

HCM CITY — A group of male artists in Hue City is showcasing works in different media as a celebration of the beauty of women and the "undending inspiration" they provide. The exhibition Tang Pham Thang Ba (Gifts for March), is one of several cultural activities organised in the city to mark the International Women's Day (March 8).

Whether they are oil or lacquer paintings, watercolors or installations, the exhibition is a " gift of love presented to Vietnamese women, old and young", said Phan Hoai Niem, one of the artists.

He said the works of all artists in the exhibition are based on their love and fond memories of women in their lives.

The exhibition, opens at 4 Hoang Hoa Tham Street, runs until March 28.
