HÀ NỘI — Hà Nội female boxing team topped the medal tally of the National Boxing Championships which wrapped up in Buôn Ma Thuột City in Đắk Lắk Province on Thursday.
The capital team brought home three golds, five silvers and one bronze medal. HCM City were the runners-up with two golds and one silver. While with one gold, one silver and two bronzes, Tiền Giang finished third.
Asian champion Nguyễn Thị Tâm of Hà Nội found no rivals in her category of 51kg.
On the men’s side, the Military dominated the rankings with two golds, one silver and two bronzes. Đà Nẵng and Bắc Ninh were the runners-up.
The event saw 140 boxers from 30 clubs nationwide. — VNS
