HA NOI — Mai Nguyen Hung won the 10th stage of the HCM City Television Cycling Tournament yesterday.
Hung, of VUS-HCM City, triumphed in the 109km stage from Hue to Da Nang City, which he completed in 2:51.10.
Nguyen Minh Luan and Nguyen Tan Hoai of Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap were the runners-up.
Although Huynh Thanh Tung of Military Zone 7 did not win this stage, he still held onto the yellow jersey for the best overall time.
The red jersey belonged to Loic Desriac of Bikelife Dong Nai, while Le Nguyet Minh of HCM City won the green jersey as best sprinter.
The white jersey for best young cyclist went to Cao Trung Hieu of Military Zone 7.
Today, cyclists from 13 national teams will compete in the 133km stage from Da Nang to Quang Ngai City. — VNS
