German film director and producer Niko von Glasow
will talk about the art of filmmaking and story-telling at the Saigon
International Film School next Tuesday.
Five teams from South Africa, Australia, Poland, the US and Viet Nam
will perform in the 2015 Da Nang International Fireworks Competition on
April 28 and 29.
The Nadarzyn orchestra, one of the most famous
orchestras in Poland, will perform on the streets for the first time
during the Hue festival on April 12, according to the event''s
organisation board.
Experts from Poland are helping to restore a stone steel in the Khiem
Lang (Mausoleum) in Hue, which is the final resting place of the fourth
king of the Nguyen dynasty.
Poland has committed VND840 million (roughly US$40,000) to fund a
project to refurbish Mausoleum of King Tu Duc (1829-83) in the Hue royal
heritage complex.
Hailed by The New York Times in 2007 as "an
excellent young Polish pianist," Polish-American Anna Kijanowska will
give her debut performance in Ha Noi next week.
