HCM CITY — Việt Nam has welcomed more than 7,000 tourists and crew members on two cruise ships, Genting Dream and Voyager of the Seas, this week.
Genting Dream, which is carrying 4,060 Singaporean nationals, docked at Nha Trang Port in Khánh Hòa Province on Tuesday, according to Saigontourist, the tour operator.
At Nha Trang City, guests visited popular tourist attractions, including the Po Nagar Cham Towers and Vinpearl Land Amusement Park and bathed in the mud.
After arriving in Phú Mỹ port in Bà Rịa- Vũng Tàu Province on Wednesday, visitors joined sightseeing tours to Vũng Tàu City, HCM City, Củ Chi Tunnels, and some localities in the Cửu Long (Mekong) Delta.
Meanwhile, the Voyager of the Seas with 3,000 guests with the UK, Australian, and the US nationals is scheduled to arrive at Phú Mỹ port on Thursday, and continue sailing towards Nha Trang Port and Chân Mây Port (Thừa Thiên- Huế Province).
After docking, visitors will go on tours to Đà Nẵng City, Huế City, Hội An Town, and Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary in Quảng Nam Province.
This year, Saigontourist has welcomed more than 49,600 foreign guests on board the Celebrity Millenium, Voyager of the Seas, World Dream, Genting Dream, and Spectrum of the Seas.
The company expects to serve 45,000- 50,000 foreign visitors on 13 cruise ships from now until the end of the year. — VNS
