HCM CITY — A group painting exhibition, Niem Vui Thang Ba (Joyfulness in March), featuring 44 works by seven women artists aged 20 to 75, is on display in HCM City.
Veteran artists Nguyen Thi Tam, Dang Thi Duong and Cao Thi Duoc, all lecturers at HCM City Fine Arts College, are included in the show.
Their students, Hua Dieu Nu and Thu Huong, as well as self-taught artists Bach Lan and Minh Nguyet round out the exhibit with works that show the beautiful aspects of daily life.
Tam's art works are poems, and Duoc's pieces feature her feminist views.
Nguyet paints roses and Lan dream worlds, while landscapes are depicted by Huong and flowers by Duong.
The show ends next Wednesday at Phuong Mai Gallery, 129B Le Thanh Ton Street, District 1, in HCM City. The works can also be viewed online. — VNS
